Trichomoniasis is one of the sexually transmitted diseases that is curable and caused by a microscopic parasite name Trichomonas vaginalis.
Trichomoniasis spreads or transmitted itself to other peoples during sexual *********** or even sexual contacts.
Trichomoniasis can also passed on to other peoples by clothing, towels, bedding etc.
From the static, women have a higher risk of infecting with trichomoniasis and usually between the age of 16 to 35 years old.
There is no clear evident to show the reasons why women have higher chance of infecting with trichomoniasis than men. Many expert assume that in men there are zinc or some other substance in the prostatic fluid that can kill or cause damage to the parasite.
The average size of trichomoniasis is only 15 mm which cannot be seen by human eye and it has the ability to reproduced itself every 7 to 12 hours.

If the infection is left untreated then trichomoniasis can last for a few years. Person who are infected will find themself uncomfortable and have a high chance that they will get other types of sexually transmitted diseases due to low immunity from infection.
Men have a greater risk of developing ***** infection while women has a higher chance of infecting with HIV.
To be completely sure that you are free from trichomoniasis, you should see your doctor and do the standard STD testing.
